About The Position

This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers, stocking and rotating product on shelves in various departments (Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, Grocery), processing incoming product, and maintaining cleanliness of shelves, displays, and storage areas. The role requires adherence to company safety guidelines and productivity standards. Training will be provided at the store level.

Requirements

18 yrs+ to apply
Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Able to stock 50 cases per hour
Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
Able to pull loaded stock truck
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)
Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store/Facility Teammates)
Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred (for Store Support Center Teammates)
Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.

Nice To Haves

Internal candidates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments
Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
Read and understand shelf tags
Sort damaged product for credit
Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
Maintain company productivity standards
