About The Position

Grifols is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses, Licensed Vocational Nurses, Paramedics, and EMTs for a Center Medical Specialist position at a plasma donation center. Requirements

• Be educated and currently certified or licensed in the state of employment, according to state requirements, as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Paramedic, or EMT.
• Have current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and establish medical histories to determine donor suitability.
• Build rapport with donors to support overall customer satisfaction.
• Maintain donor and staff confidentiality.
• Inform donors about potential hazards.
• Provide donors with general health education and counseling regarding unacceptable test results.
• Evaluate and manage donor injuries and adverse events.
• Review histories of illness and medication use to ensure continued donor suitability.
• Assist with employee training.
• Administer the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.
