This is a Full Time RN / Registered Nurse position. The role involves performing physical examinations and establishing medical history to determine donor suitability, building rapport with donors for customer satisfaction, ensuring donor and staff confidentiality, and educating donors regarding general health and counseling them regarding unacceptable test results. The position also involves evaluating and managing donor injuries and adverse events, performing evaluations of any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability, assisting in employee training, and administering the employee Hepatitis Vaccine program.
Requirements
- Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Registered Nurse.
- Current CPR certification required
- Bilingual in Spanish
Responsibilities
- Perform physical examination and establish medical history to determine donor suitability

- Responsible for donor awareness to potential hazards
- Provide donor education regarding general health and provide counseling regarding unacceptable test results
