About The Position

As a Center Manager at European Wax Center, you will own the full picture including team performance, guest experience, sales results, and culture. You will be responsible for building a center that employees are proud to work in and guests love returning to. Ballast Wax, a fast-growing multi-unit EWC franchisee, invests in its managers by providing real autonomy, structure, training, and a supportive team.

Requirements

  • Accountable for real sales metrics (revenue, conversion, retention) and able to discuss performance.
  • Experience developing people, not just managing them.
  • Ability to give direct feedback and follow through.
  • Proactive recruitment skills; ability to fill pipeline before job boards are needed.
  • Ability to own and fix guest problems and use them to improve future experiences.
  • Managed a real team.
  • 2+ years leading direct reports in retail, spa, beauty, hospitality, or a similar guest-facing environment.
  • Available for a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends (one weekend shift, not both).
  • Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue, package, and product goals and analyze numbers.
  • Coach the team on guest education and confident selling.
  • Analyze trends and build action plans to improve performance.
  • Drive traffic through local marketing and brand campaigns.
  • Set the standard for every guest interaction.
  • Resolve escalated concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Champion an environment guests want to return to.
  • Recruit, onboard, and retain top-performing team members.
  • Provide consistent coaching, including performance reviews, 1-on-1s, and feedback.
  • Build internal succession for team growth.
  • Create a culture people choose to stay in.
  • Manage scheduling, inventory, payroll, and cash handling.
  • Track KPIs such as productivity, retention, and labor, and act on findings.
  • Uphold cleanliness, sanitation, and brand standards.

Benefits

  • Compensation & Bonuses: $23–$25/hr base depending on experience, monthly performance bonuses ($500, $1,000, or $1,500), commission on personal sales.
  • Total potential: $53,000–$70,000 annually.
