About The Position
Kids Speaking Spanish (KSS) is seeking a Spanish-speaking Center Director for its Montclair location. The ideal candidate will be a flexible and enthusiastic team player with leadership and management experience in a daycare center or school setting for preschool-aged children (2-5 years). KSS offers a full- and part-time Spanish immersion preschool program in the San Francisco Bay Area, providing a warm and nurturing environment with experienced teachers from Spanish-speaking countries.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (masters degree preferred)
- At least 3 years of preschool administrative experience
- Written and spoken fluency in English
- Written and spoken fluency in Spanish
- Knowledge and experience in education and child development
- Fully licensed early childhood teacher and site supervisor (12 ECE Units minimum)
- Fully authorized to work now and in the future in the U.S.

Responsibilities
- Create a welcoming and supportive environment for families and children
- Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to all teachers
- Promote an atmosphere that cultivates leadership, communication and accountability
- Ensure that our program adheres to Community Care Licensing regulations
- Oversee curriculum implementation
- Ensure that facilities and school environments are safe and well kept
- Serve as a leader and role model that supports the policies and mission of KSS
