Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business, or related field required.
  • Five (5) years of Educational or Business management experience required.

  • Experience in the Higher Education, sales and marketing field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and administer all programs, services, and activities at the Center.
  • Continuously evaluate program offerings for fiscal responsibility and community needs.
  • Ensure Center compliance with all federal, state, institutional, and accreditation guidelines and regulations.
  • Directly manage and support all staff assigned to the Center, including performance management and hiring.
  • Supervise daily enrollment, academic, and continuing education operations (admissions, financial aid, advising, registration, billing).
  • Monitor individual student accounts in cooperation with the Student Accounts department.
  • Develop and implement a Center retention plan in cooperation with the Director of Admissions and Student Affairs department.
  • Hire, supervise, evaluate, and provide leadership to Center staff.
  • Recruit, hire, and support adjunct faculty and continuing education instructors.
  • Develop the Center’s budget and monitor profitability and spending compliance with the Director of Admissions.
  • Coordinate course schedules for degree programs and Continuing Education courses with the Academic Dean and Director of Continuing Education.
  • Develop and implement the Center’s marketing plan in collaboration with the College Advancement team.
  • Develop and market new continuing education programs.
  • Work with and participate in area economic and workforce development agencies, chambers of commerce, social service agencies, and other relevant organizations.
  • Uphold the policies and procedures of the College.
  • Prepare and submit reports on enrollment, retention, and student activities.
  • Provide classroom instruction as required (e.g., College 101, Capstone).
  • Provide staff development training for staff and faculty on Center processes.
  • Support the college’s Development/Fundraising activities.
  • Lead departmental or unit level planning in alignment with the Institutional Strategic Plan, engaging staff and ensuring task completion.
  • Collaborate with other departmental heads to coordinate overlapping or related initiatives.
  • Participate in the Institutional Strategic Planning process as requested.
  • Assess achievement of departmental plans annually and report results.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
