About The Position

Mathnasium of Morningside is seeking a Center Director to lead their team and foster student success. This role focuses on building strong relationships with students, families, and staff, driving center growth through exceptional service and community engagement. The position blends educational leadership, consultative sales, team development, community outreach, and day-to-day operations. Success is measured by delivering an exceptional family experience, developing a strong team, building community relationships, and growing the center through trust, service, and consistent follow-through. The ideal candidate is personable, organized, growth-minded, and an exceptional communicator who naturally builds trust.

Requirements

  • Confident in math through Algebra I.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Leadership, management, customer service, relationship management, or consultative sales experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with local schools, neighborhoods, and community networks in the Morningside / Virginia-Highland area is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with students and families through excellent communication and outstanding customer service.
  • Deliver an exceptional parent experience through proactive communication, responsiveness, empathy, and professionalism.
  • Administer student assessments, identify learning gaps, and develop personalized learning plans.
  • Foster a safe, encouraging, and professional learning environment.
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, coach, and develop instructional staff.
  • Lead and motivate team members while cultivating a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented center culture.
  • Maintain high standards while balancing multiple leadership responsibilities.
  • Drive center growth through relationship-building, consultative sales, strong communication, and an exceptional family experience.
  • Build relationships with parents, schools, and community organizations to increase awareness, trust, and enrollment.
  • Monitor performance metrics including enrollment, student success, retention, parent satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Oversee day-to-day center operations and seek opportunities to strengthen center performance.
