About The Position
Work with higher behavior students living with autism. Provide various levels of personal care. Scheduled day shift, 7:45-4:15 - no nights or weekends. We partner with staff to meet Highly Qualified requirements. Similar positions: Direct support para, DSP, PCA, Personal Care Assistant.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Ability to operate a computer and the software necessary to complete the required job tasks
Nice To Haves
- 2 year degree or a minimum of 60 college credits OR successful completion of the ParaPro exam.
- Knowledge and experience working with students on the autism spectrum and low incidence disabilities.
- One year previous experience in a middle school, high school setting or transition setting.
- Knowledge and experience working with Google Apps
