About The Position

The Part-Time Center Associate delivers world-class customer service to retail customers by receiving and processing packages for courier shipment and operating copiers, fax machines, binding equipment, laminating machines, and point-of-sale devices. The Associate advises customers about products, services, and best-value options, providing accurate information and applying industry best practices.

The ideal candidate has previous retail sales experience, strong computer and internet skills, a high school diploma or GED, a friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor, and a professional appearance. The candidate should learn quickly and make an effort to learn all aspects of the business in the shortest possible time. This position requires 25 to 35 hours per week across a 7-day work week, including weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
• Outstanding phone skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including spelling and math.
• Prompt, reliable, and responsible.
• Able to lift 40+ pounds.
• Able and willing to work 25 to 35 hours per week across a 7-day work week; weekends are required.
• Previous retail sales experience.
• Strong internet skills.
• Friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor and professional appearance.
• Fast learner willing to learn all aspects of the business quickly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries.
• Practice good listening skills with customers, team members, and leadership.
• Take ownership of customers’ shipping needs and offer viable solutions.
• Learn product and service offerings, alternative solutions, and industry trends.
• Operate equipment, software, and devices expertly and be willing to teach others.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
