About The Position
The Sales Associate will be primarily responsible for guiding customers’ experience with the UPS Store through every interaction. In addition to opening/closing duties, Sales Associate will be responsible for educating customers on UPS Store services and delivering those services with the highest level of customer service. We have a part-time position available. Computer and point-of-sale experience would be helpful.
Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50+lbs
- Must be able to remain standing for extended periods of time
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation
- U.S. Citizenship
- Professional appearance
- Knowledge of basic procedures for shipping mail and packages
- Knowledge of fundamental accounting, banking, cash management practices
- Skills in email applications: communication & management
- Ability to communicate and spark rapport with customers of diverse backgrounds
- Ability to learn and retain information quickly
- Ability to cross sell and upsell additional services
- Ability to address issues and resolve conflicts through professional verbal/written communication
