About The Position

SEASONAL - PT Cemetery Support Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services’ Cemetery Enterprise seeks a qualified individual to serve in a supportive role to work directly with staff on a variety of projects with a focus on mapping and site inventory within both Evergreen and Fairview Cemeteries.

Requirements

• Knowledge of cemetery maps, records and operations
• Ability to think and act independently, problem solve, and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing
• Ability to comply with pertinent City and division policies and procedures
• Ability to read maps and determine locations using coordinates
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

• Experience and/or a degree (received or in progress) in engineering

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential burial sites in existing inventory
• Use Cemetery Maps, Cemetery Records and Ground Penetrating Radar
• Perform quantitative assessment and evaluation
• Other duties as assigned
