About The Position

Serve Virginia's veterans and their family members by ensuring they receive the benefits, support, quality care, and recognition they have earned through service and sacrifice.

Requirements

• Familiarity with all cemetery grounds maintenance procedures and practices.
• Knowledge of all operations including section maps, pins and gravesite numbering system for laying out each site.
• Awareness of preventative maintenance in relationship to the cemeteries light and heavy equipment.
• Operation of power hand tools, plastering, plumbing, and roof repairs and carpentry.
• Ability to lift/maneuver a 220-pound grave marker with the help of one additional person.
• Valid Virginia driver's license.

Nice To Haves

• High School education/GED or Cemetery experience of six months.
