About The Position

Requirements

  • BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of communication theory and signal processing, AGC, beamforming, Tx power control, mitigation of radio impairments, and calibration algorithms.
  • Strong experience with Matlab, Python, and C/C++ and efficient analysis and automation scripting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal especially in a multi-functional environment.
  • Demonstrate strong clarity of thought and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • MSEE or beyond is preferred.
  • Experience in the design and bringup of wireless communication systems with expertise in cellular systems preferred.
  • Strong technical background in 5G-NR/LTE/UMTS (3G/2G) physical layer and protocols.
  • Hands-on experience in applying AI/ML techniques on real-world data sets to tackle sophisticated engineering problems.
  • Experience with silicon prototyping, emulation systems, and virtual platforms is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience in the bring up of real silicon in the lab.
  • Ability to efficiently use lab equipment (such as spectrum analyzer, signal generator, power meter, etc).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the pre- and post-silicon bring up, and validation of end-to-end cellular systems.
  • Understand and map systems algorithms and requirements to HW/FW architecture.
  • Simulation and emulation based validation of the control flows and algorithms.
