About The Position

Earthcom, a leader in wireless communication, is looking for experienced or inexperienced team members to join our Cellular Tower services team. Based out of the Lansing, MI area, Earthcom is looking to develop a Tower Technician team to assist with the maintenance of cell towers in the Michigan market. This is not a job; this is a career with growth opportunities that will reach beyond climbing. Frequent travel out of town required, hotel and per diem provided. Potential for rapid advancement after 90-day training period.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to climb towers/structures.
• Must possess valid drivers license and have acceptable driving history.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Previous industry recognized tower climbing certification(s) a plus
• Tower Rescue / TTT1 or TTT2 (preferred)
• First-Aid-CPR/RF/OSHA 10/Fiber Testing - OTDR (preferred)
• Previous construction experience and or good mechanical aptitude preferred
• Minimum 6 months prior tower tech experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with the maintenance of cell towers in the Michigan market.
• Perform work at heights in excess of 200 feet.
