About The Position

The NDT Level II Radiographic Technician (NAS 410 Certified) performs and evaluates radiographic inspections to ensure the integrity of critical aerospace components. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a technical environment and is passionate about maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This role supports the creation, maintenance, training, coaching, and improvement of standard work.

Requirements

• Current NDT Level II Radiography (X-ray non-film) certification to NAS 410 (other equivalent standards may be considered).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of radiographic inspection techniques, safety, and equipment use.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous aerospace or industrial inspection experience.
• Multi-method NDT experience (PT, UT, MT, ET).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic inspections in line with NAS 410, company procedures, and customer requirements.
• Set up, calibrate, and operate X-ray non-film equipment.
• Interpret and evaluate results, documenting findings with precision.
• Conduct inspections of welds (EB, GTAW).
• Train and mentor Level I and trainee personnel in best practices.
• Maintain compliance with AS9100, FAA, and other aerospace quality standards.
• Support cross-training across additional NDT methods when needed.
• Operate other equipment in the cell as necessary to keep product flowing at takt.
