A Day in the Life The Cell Operating System Team Lead is a hands-on leadership role that supports daily manufacturing operations while ensuring quality, efficiency, and compliance with established processes. This position works directly with production teams to set up layouts, interpret technical documentation, perform continuity checks, and support inspections, rework, and prototype builds. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example on the production floor while contributing to process improvement and product success. This position is reported to the Manufacturing/Operations Supervisor and is based on-site at our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations. Works from visual aids, method layouts, diagrams, schematics, process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions. Sets initial layouts, and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s). Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed. May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions. Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am to 8:00pm and Mondays and Tuesday from 5:30am to 2:00pm

Requirements

  • Requires advanced knowledge within a specific discipline, typically gained through broad work experience and/or education.
  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of experience and may require vocational or technical education or certification in addition to prior work experience.
  • May require vocational training and/or certification.

  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Flexibility to work across different manufacturing areas, including Final Pack and Sterilization.
  • Ability to work across shifts and perform effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on meeting operational and quality goals
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
