Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1 to 2 year related experience in sheet metal manufacturing, welding and in a manufacturing settings, assembly work preferred. Self-Balancing Flow manufacturing knowledge or experience is an asset Good knowledge of shop and safety practices is essential. Interpersonal skills and attention to details. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple written and verbal instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write time attendance and fill out necessary paperwork. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Must be able to communicate orally and in writing, giving clear and concise messages. Computer skills: Basic computer skills in MS office. Ability to navigate with the mouse, use keyboard to enter accurate information. Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
