About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Level 5 Ceiling Tile Installer with a minimum of 5 years of commercial ceiling installation experience. The ideal candidate will be proficient in reading blueprints, installing suspended ceiling systems, specialty ceilings, and acoustical ceiling tile systems while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. This position requires extensive travel to project sites throughout the United States.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience installing commercial acoustical ceiling systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of suspended ceiling systems, seismic requirements, and commercial construction practices.
  • Proficient with measuring tools, laser levels, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively for project assignments.
  • Ability to lift to 50 pounds and work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts.
  • Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Armstrong, USG, and other major ceiling manufacturers preferred.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Install acoustical ceiling grid systems, ceiling tiles, and specialty ceiling products in commercial and industrial settings.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and construction documents.
  • Measure, cut, and fit ceiling grid components and tiles accurately.
  • Layout ceiling systems according to project specifications and manufacturer requirements.
  • Install seismic bracing, perimeter trim, suspension systems, and specialty ceiling components.
  • Coordinate work with project supervisors, contractors, and other trades.
  • Maintain compliance with OSHA safety standards and company safety policies.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to project requirements.
  • Operate lifts, scaffolding, and hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Assist with material handling, job site organization, and cleanup.
  • Mentor and train junior installers when needed.
  • Travel to project locations nationwide and work on extended assignments as required.
