About The Position

STV is seeking an experienced CEI Senior Inspector to join our CEI Team in Central Florida (Lake Mary, FL area) and be part of a growing organization! Our ideal candidate should have been directly responsible for all inspection requirements related to the construction operations assigned. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Project Administrator and will consist of assisting the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties.

Requirements

A minimum of 4 years of related experience
Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
High School Diploma

CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I
CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I
CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I
CTQP Pile Driving Inspection
CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)
IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
CTQP Final Estimates Level I
FDOT Intermediate MOT
Nuclear Radiation Safety
Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors
Qualifications/certifications for this position may be obtained within six (6) months from the date of hire

Responsibilities

Performing technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout
Making and checking engineering computations
Inspecting construction work
Conducting field tests
