Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years' professional experience in construction of Roadway Projects and FDOT Standards.
- High school diploma.
- 4+ years progressive experience in construction of roadways and transportation facilities, and/or infrastructure.
- A safety-first mindset.
- Strong writing, listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Inspects and oversees construction work to ensure that results, procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications.
- Serve as a daily point of contact with clients and contractors, and manage all aspects of a project including construction observations, material testing and maintaining documentation.
- Verify levels, alignment, and elevation of installations.
- Prepare samples of materials for laboratory testing.
- Examine workmanship of finished installations for conformity to standard and approves installation.
- Interpret plans and specifications for Contractor and discuss deviations from specified construction procedures to ensure compliance with regulations governing construction.
- Record quantities of materials received or used during specified periods, develop pay estimates and change orders.
- Maintain daily log of construction and inspection activities and compare progress reports.
- Monitor several types of work activity.
- Maintain construction safety practices and work methods for compliance.
- Manage documents using electronic platforms such as MAC, PrC and Procore.
