About The Position
Barge is looking for a CEI Inspection Manager to perform technical assignments including inspection of roadway and bridge construction activities; oversight of contractor daily operations; performing materials sampling and verification testing; plans reading; field surveying and construction engineering computations. Monitor construction progress, verify work completed and assist with construction pay estimates and senior inspector responsibilities.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 7 years of experience in construction inspection on transportation projects including roadway and bridge construction
- OSHA 10 Safety Training Construction (All field personnel)
Nice To Haves
- TDOT: HMA Certified Roadway Inspector
- TDOT: Asphalt Plant Tech Certification
- TDOT: Concrete Field Technician/ACI Grade 1
- TDOT: Soils and Aggregate Technician
- TDEC: EPSC Level 1 - For inspectors conducting EPSC inspections
- TDEC: EPSC Level 2 - For supervisors of EPSC inspections
- TDEC: Nuclear Gauge Training
- TDEC: Work Zone Traffic Control and Flagger
- Candidates that possess some, but not all, of the above are eligible for employment consideration provided said certifications can be obtained within six months
