About The Position

Rugby Architectural Building Products is seeking a Class A CDL Delivery Driver for local routes. You will deliver mostly hardwood lumber and sheet stock, doors, and other supplies. This position requires you to physically load and unload product and engage with our customers. Shifts start between 6 am and 7:30 am. At Rugby, our goal is to lead the industry! Requirements

Experienced driver with a Class A driver's license (CDL A) and medical card.
Able to pass drug test, background, Clearinghouse and motor vehicle pre-employment screen.
Required to pass a driving test.
Must be able to pass a physical examination as required by the U. S. Department of Transportation and provide a valid medical card.
History of being a truck driver, delivery driver, and especially experience with a Class A CDL.
Strong physical stamina – this role requires a lot of physical activity.
Highly organized and self-motivated – you should be a self-starter who doesn’t require constant supervision.

Responsibilities

Potentially load and unload your truck, depending on the customer.
Work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies.
Occasionally lift heavy products to store, remove from storage, or load onto a truck.
