About The Position

Drive gasoline or diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver products, or materials in loose, or packaged form. Uses Yard tractor to shuttle trailers and or containers around the yard, and in and out of dock doors at Shipping/Receiving.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
1-3 years shipping/receiving experience required.
2-3 years forklift experience.
CDL Class A license required
3+ years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
Good backing skills
Good customer service & teamwork skills
Good physical condition; must be able to get in and out of trucks several times per day
Able to work in all types of environments, including inclement weather
Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
No DUI/DWI, Careless/Reckless driving citations or revoked/suspended license in the past 5 years
No more than 2 moving violations within the past 3 years
Current DOT medical card

Responsibilities

Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) as required.
Comply with Sunny Delight Beverage’s policies and procedures.
Performing safety checks on all equipment.
Completing daily yard inventory of trailers and ensure yard is kept organized.
Setting up shipping with empty trailers for load out and remove loaded trailers and stage in the yard drop area.
Load and unload shuttles whenever needed.
Setting up receiving dock with inbound dropped trailers and move trailers as needed to yard drop area.
Keeping the trailer yard clean and clear of debris that would cause any safety concerns.
Safely maneuver a tractor and trailer combination vehicle in a compact yard area.
Shuttle product to Saddle creek as well as pick up and deliver bottles from CCC and CKS.
Performing safety checks on all equipment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
