About The Position

Moss Solar is hiring CDL Water Truck Drivers to support our utility-scale solar project in Kenansville, Florida. This role is for a dependable driver with a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. The position requires frequent physical activity in both indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds and may occasionally be required to handle loads exceeding that amount with assistance. The employee may be exposed to moving mechanical parts, elevated work areas, loud noise levels, and extreme temperatures. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role. Pre-employment drug screening is required.

Requirements

Valid Class A or Class B CDL
Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
Must be 21 years of age or older
Strong focus on safety and compliance
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Tanker Endorsement preferred

Responsibilities

Safely operate a water truck on active solar construction sites
Transport and distribute water for dust control and site operations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain vehicle logs and required DOT documentation
Communicate with project leadership and crew members to support daily operations
Keep equipment clean and in proper working condition
Assist with general site duties when needed
