About The Position

MGC Contractors, Inc. is a 100% Employee Owned Corporation specializing in water and wastewater general contracting. We are currently seeking a CDL Water Truck Driver to join our Texas Division in the Alamogordo, NM Area. This role is responsible for safely operating a water truck to support construction activities, including dust control, soil compaction, and site maintenance.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement
• Clean MVR (Past 3 years) is preferred.
• Passing a pre-employment drug screen is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a water truck safely on construction sites and public roadways.
• Perform dust control and water distribution as directed.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Monitor water levels and ensure proper truck operation.
• Report equipment issues and maintenance needs promptly.
• Assist Foremen and field crews with general labor, site preparation, and construction-related tasks when water truck operations are not required.
• Support project operations as needed to help ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Any and all other duties assigned.
