Requirements

Ability to work a 12-hour shift beginning either 7 AM or 7 PM.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to be a team player and interact with colleagues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to operate a forklift.
CDL License.

Responsibilities

Perform safety inspection and fill out a truck inspection sheet before vehicle operation.
Complete trailer inventory at the beginning of the shift and record it.
Move trailers at the request of shipping operators, Shift Flows, or Supply Chain Manager and record moves.
Place wheel chokes and jack stands when moving a trailer to a dock.
Confirm trailer is ready for removal from a dock by checking dock plate removal, dock lock device lowering, and safety chain placement.
Hook to trailer by backing the tractor under the trailer until the fifth wheel latches around the trailer king pin.
Assist Shipping Material Handler with all their duties.
