About The Position
The CDL - Vac Truck Operator will be responsible for driving and operating sewer-cleaning pump trucks, performing general diagnostics and maintenance on waste systems, and operating all equipment safely and efficiently. This role also involves conducting pre-shift vehicle inspections and performing laborer duties as needed to ensure timely and quality job completion and to carry out special projects. Travel is required for this position.
Requirements
- CDL License, class A or B with medical card
- Previous experience working in the construction field
- A record of safe vehicle operation
- Possess a good driving record over the last 3 years
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, reference check, and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Drive and operate sewer-cleaning pump trucks
- Perform general diagnostic and maintenance to waste systems
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Conduct pre-shift vehicle inspection
- Performs laborer duties as needed to ensure a timely and quality job and carry out special projects as assigned
