About The Position
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Truck Washer to join our team. This position is responsible for washing and maintaining commercial trucks while assisting with basic shop duties as needed. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, takes pride in quality work, and is willing to learn and grow within the company.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL is required.
- Must own basic hand tools or be willing to purchase them.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, climbing, and kneeling.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Previous truck washing, detailing, or commercial vehicle experience is preferred but not required.
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus; willingness to learn is equally important.
Responsibilities
- Wash and clean commercial trucks and trailers to company standards.
- Inspect vehicles during cleaning and report any visible damage or maintenance concerns.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and assist with minor mechanical tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Operate equipment safely and follow all company safety procedures.
- Participate in the rotating on-call schedule (approximately one week/month, shared among the team).
- Work overtime when needed to meet operational demands.
