About The Position
We are seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver to join our team! You will be responsible for safely operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).
Requirements
- Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
- Commercial driver's license
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
- Must have clean MVR, Drug Test, pass DOT physical.
- Automotive repair: 1 year (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Load and unload cargo
- Properly track and document activity log
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation.
- Follow McGriff policy and procedures in making all repairs.
- Participate in company training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Prompt, daily attendance at assigned work location.
