The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for transporting freight from molding facilities to company warehouses, conducting yard moves, shuttling products between locations, and assisting with warehouse operations when needed. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Current DOT Medical Card/Physical Certification.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Forklift experience and the ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Transport freight from molding facilities to warehouse locations using the drop-and-hook method.
  • Shuttle products between CreoGroup facilities and warehouse locations.
  • Perform yard moves as required.
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection reports and ensure equipment is safe for operation.
  • Communicate any tractor or trailer maintenance issues to the Supervisor promptly.
  • Report delays or operational issues at molding facilities immediately.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company safety guidelines.
  • Assist with unloading trailers using a forklift when required.
  • Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers, vendors, and team members.
