About The Position

Waste Connections is seeking experienced and safety-minded CDL Drivers to join their growing team in Palestine, Texas. The role involves safely operating a CDL Truck for residential trash collection, servicing routes with timely pickups and deliveries. Drivers will operate hydraulic and automated lifting systems, work a consistent schedule with built-in overtime, and communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers. Daily pre/post-trip inspections are required to ensure vehicle safety.

Requirements

Class A or B CDL
Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
Clean MVR and safety-first mindset
Physically able to lift 75+ lbs., climb in/out of truck, and work outdoors in all conditions

Responsibilities

Safely operate a CDL Truck from our yard—start and end your shift in the same location.
Service Residential routes with timely pickups and deliveries.
Operate hydraulic and automated lifting systems to load/unload materials and containers.
Work a consistent schedule: e.g., Mon–Fri, 6 AM start | Approx. 50–65 hrs./week
Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers.
Conduct daily pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
