CDL Truck Driver - Omaha
About The Position
As a CDL Truck Driver employed by Ice Solutions, you will complete assigned duties in a timely and efficient manner, performing quality work that meets customer and owner expectations. You will communicate effectively and clearly with peers and upper-level management. This role requires extensive knowledge of the industry in driving and hauling materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will be organized, maintain a high level of customer service, be very dependable, and possess superior time management abilities. Ice Solutions utilizes equipment with GPS tracking, e-logs, and dashcams with event detection. Drivers must be safety-minded and follow all applicable laws and regulations. Travel may be required as needed, including overnight stays.
Requirements
- Background in driving and hauling materials and equipment
- Experience with bulk hopper trailers, tanks, equipment trailers (Flatbed, detach, step-deck), bulk tanks and tank trailers
- Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job
- Must have experience in bulk transportation/equipment hauling
- Must be 25 years old
- Must have current Class A CDL and DOT medical Exam and Commercial Motor Vehicle Certification with tank endorsement
- Must be fluent in speaking, reading, writing and understand English
- Quick learning ability for new database programs
- Proficient navigation of communication platforms (such as GPS Mobile application, etc.)
- Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs

Responsibilities
- Follow instructions from supervisors to perform deliveries to assigned locations
- Deliver salt and brine and haul other materials and equipment
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
- Abide by safety procedures when using equipment
- Equipment operations and loading, and safe load securement
- Performs all duties assigned by management in a timely and safe manner
- Maintain a professional driving attitude
- Other duties as assigned
