About The Position
We are looking for a Class A CDL Truck Driver to support our Shipping and Receiving Department by safely and efficiently transporting materials and finished products. This role is ideal for someone who manages their time well, works independently, and enjoys consistent hours with opportunities for overtime.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL in the state of North Carolina
- Punctual, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others
- Commitment to safety and professionalism
Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned trucks to transport materials and products safely and efficiently
- Haul various types of loads, including flatbeds and box trailers
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and vendors
- Manage delivery schedules and time effectively to meet shipment deadlines
- Perform basic pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Maintain communication with shipping and supervisory staff regarding deliveries
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
