Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Have a valid California Class A or B Driver's License with the ability to drive vehicles with air brakes.
Must have a valid Medical Certificate.
Good driving record.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
Must join Union.

Responsibilities

Operate full-size commercial street sweeper and related equipment in order to sweep/clean streets
Complete daily reports.
Conduct on-the-job training
Inspect tools and equipment for safety and mechanical defects
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections daily
Attention to detail
Perform pre- and post-trip inspection on assigned equipment
Be proactive in reporting equipment issue
Maintain work records including Logs (if required)
Follow oral and written directions.
Be courteous and professional
Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
Must be willing to travel out of town for work.
