About The Position

Shuttle Driver is responsible for safely transporting trucks between dealerships. This is a part-time position requiring availability on an as-needed basis with no set schedule. The role involves driving semi-tractors between dealership locations and requires the ability to work in a dealership environment, potentially for 8-12 hour days with frequent exposure to weather elements. The job also emphasizes customer focus, communication, teamwork, health and safety awareness, scheduling and coordinating, problem-solving, decision-making, adaptability, and lifelong learning.

Requirements

  • Must be available on an as needed basis with no set schedule.
  • Must have a CDL Class A or B with a good driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen and maintain a Federal Medical Card.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work in a dealership environment to include 8 - 12-hour days with frequent exposure to weather elements.
  • Communicate in spoken English well enough to be understood by others.
  • Recognize and mitigate safety hazards including hazardous materials, environmental hazards, and accident conditions on a construction site.
  • Follow appropriate security procedures.
  • Being open to change and to considerable variety in the workplace.
  • Understanding the importance of learning new information for future problem solving and decision making.
