About The Position

Mega Disposal, part of Waste Connections, is hiring a CDL Route Driver in Seekonk, Massachusetts. The role involves safely operating a garbage truck on assigned routes to collect solid waste and providing courteous service to customers. The position offers $27.50 per hour, weekly pay, paid training, overtime eligibility, a $2,000 retention bonus, an annual boot allowance, and quarterly safety bonuses.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or B CDL.
• Clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of local route driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.
• Read route sheets and service each customer listed or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Perform routine pre-route and post-route vehicle inspections, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Interact professionally and courteously with customers when needed.
• Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
