About The Position

Doodie Calls is a growing portable sanitation company serving construction sites, homes, special events, and disaster relief. We are looking for a CDL Pump Truck Driver to join our team in Amarillo, TX. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a pay rate of $25-$28 per hour, plus overtime. The role involves running a pump truck on a set route, servicing portable restrooms by pumping tanks, cleaning, and restocking units. Drivers will finish their day at the disposal site. This is a physical, outdoor job with significant responsibility for the truck and timely service. Requirements

Class A or B CDL.
Tanker endorsement preferred.
3+ years of commercial driving experience.
A 5-year driving record that passes insurance review.
Comfortable with automatic and manual transmissions.
Current DOT medical card.
Able to pass a DOT Clearinghouse query.
Available for some nights, weekends, and holidays, including storm and event surges.

Nice To Haves

Hazmat endorsement.
Trailer or vac-trailer experience.

Responsibilities

Perform pre-trip inspections and log them before starting the route.
Service portable restrooms on route: pump, clean, sanitize, and restock each unit.
Safely back up, park, and maneuver large service trucks and multi-unit trailers into tight or uneven spaces on active jobsites.
Communicate with dispatch regarding delays, site problems, breakdowns, or accidents.
Unload at the approved disposal site and maintain dump, mileage, and service logs.
Refuel the truck, handle basic upkeep, and report any necessary repairs to the shop.
