About The Position

Waste Connections is looking for a CDL Permit Driver to join their team in Richwoods, Missouri. The company is committed to employee growth and will provide the truck and training necessary to become a CDL driver, including paying for CDL schooling. The primary requirement is for the candidate to obtain their CDL permit before their first day. A CDL permit is not required before applying. The role involves safely operating a company vehicle on designated routes, picking up and transporting waste and recycling materials, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with customers and dispatch. The company is an integrated solid waste services provider focused on collection, transfer, disposal, and recycling services.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Commercial permit before your start date
• Clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle on designated routes
• Pick up and transport waste and recycling materials
• Maintain accurate records of pick-ups and deliveries
• Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Provide excellent customer service
• Report any issues or concerns to management
