About The Position

Don Mar, LoJac Storm Water Solutions is a local Naples specialist providing high-end storm water maintenance for resorts, HOAs, and commercial properties. We are seeking a skilled Combo Vac Truck Operator to join our local maintenance team. In this role, you will operate specialized vacuum trucks and support equipment, such as easement machines and mini-excavators, to maintain and repair storm drain systems exclusively. Your work will focus on precision tasks like digging out culvert pipes, clearing catch basins and junction boxes, and removing sediment buildup to ensure these systems are fully functional for the Florida rainy season.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience operating a combo vac truck specifically working on storm drain systems in South Florida.
Minimum Class B CDL with Tanker Endorsement is required.
Must have a clean driving record.
Proficiency in operating mini-excavators for delicate tasks like digging around culvert pipes and clearing sediment from around structures without damaging infrastructure.
Ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot mechanical issues in the field.
Familiarity with the layout and maintenance of storm water components, including culverts, catch basins, and junction boxes.
Must be punctual and professional, representing our local Naples brand to high-end clients.

Nice To Haves

Ability to speak both English and Spanish is highly valued for crew coordination and client interaction.

Responsibilities

Safely operate combo vacuum trucks and high-pressure jetting systems to clear debris specifically from storm drain lines, catch basins, and junction boxes.
Operate a mini-excavator for digging out culvert pipes and removing heavy sediment/silt buildup to restore proper drainage flow.
Perform thorough cleaning of catch basins, junction boxes, and inlet connections to ensure unobstructed water flow through the storm system.
Utilize an easement machine to access and clean storm drainage lines in tight spaces, backyards, or areas inaccessible by the main truck.
Conduct routine checks of all equipment (Vac Truck, Mini-Ex, Easement Machine) to ensure safety and proper functioning before and after use.
Coordinate with team members to set up work zones and manage site access, ensuring minimal disruption to local residents and resorts.
Maintain detailed logs of work completed and report any structural damage found within pipes, catch basins, or junction boxes during sediment removal.
