Requirements

• Possession of an active Pennsylvania non-commercial Class C Driver's License or equivalent.
• Possession of an active Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Regulations by the first day of work.
• Possession of an active Pennsylvania Class A or B Commercial Driver Learner's Permit at the time of application.
• Ability to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks, loaders, and other roadway maintenance equipment as required
• Maintain a valid CDL and complete training and certification for assigned equipment
• Conduct flagging duties to help direct traffic during work activities
• Use hand tools and motorized tools to complete tasks such as clearing culverts, cutting brush, and repairing barriers
• Perform equipment adjustments, basic repairs, and daily inspections
• Follow proper safety procedures and report injuries, hazards, and accidents promptly
