About The Position

Liberty Moving & Storage in Wayne, New Jersey, is hiring full-time CDL and Non-CDL Drivers / Movers to join our team. If you enjoy staying active, working with a dependable crew, and taking pride in doing the job right, this could be a great fit. Pay ranges from $20 to $26 per hour, depending on the type of license held and relevant experience. We also offer a strong benefits package and real opportunities for advancement. Work schedules vary within our normal business hours based on customer and operational needs.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license or CDL with a clean driving record
• Experience driving box trucks up to 26ft or commercial vehicles appropriate for your license A MUST
• Comfortable driving in New York City and the surrounding areas A MUST
• Able to perform physical labor and lift and move heavy items safely A MUST
• Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Professional moving experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals
• Both CDL and Non-CDL applicants are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles appropriate for your license, including box trucks
• Load and unload household goods and commercial equipment
• Safely transport customers' belongings
• Lead and work alongside moving helpers
• Wrap, protect, and handle furniture and other items with care
• Complete required paperwork and inventories accurately
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers
