About The Position

As a CDL Material Handler at CEC, you'll play an important role in helping construction projects run smoothly. Your job will involve moving tools and materials around job sites and company facilities. You’ll also help with deliveries, inventory, and keeping everything organized and safe. This is a hands-on role that requires good planning, problem-solving, and a strong focus on safety. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must have a valid CDL driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Forklift and DOT certifications.
Able to read and understand basic English instructions.
Comfortable with basic math like counting and measuring.
Available to work overtime, weekends, or night shifts if needed.
Ability to travel.
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (hard hat, safety glasses, safety vest) at all times.
Must be able to work 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week, and overtime as required and night shifts, as needed.
Must be able to work in the presence of customers and their representatives with little or no interference or disruption to the customer while maintaining a professional and courteous image.

Nice To Haves

Construction experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver and pick up materials as needed.
Load and unload trucks safely.
Keep track of inventory and help with regular counts.
Organize and clean tools, materials, and the warehouse.
Drive company vehicles when required.
Maintain paperwork like logs and transfer forms.
Help keep shop vehicles in good condition.
Support building and fleet maintenance when needed.
Follow safety rules and keep your workspace clean and organized.
Performs other duties as needed to support projects, operations, and the department.
