Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions, including lifting up to 75 pounds, bending, stooping, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and reliability.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 1 year of experience operating commercial vehicles in a construction or related environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) such as dump trucks, flatbeds, and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all DOT regulations and company policies.
Transport materials, equipment, and personnel to and from job sites.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment, completing necessary documentation.
Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment.
Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including but not limited to digging, trenching, lifting, carrying, and clearing debris.
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Assist skilled tradespersons as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both in and around vehicles and on job sites.
Adhere to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other team members.
