About The Position
Georgia Driving Academy is seeking a full-time CDL Instructor for its Columbus, GA location. The role requires a valid Class A CDL, patience, good communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate with others. Prior experience is considered a plus.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid Class A CDL.
- Minimum of 2 years Over-The-Road (OTR) experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work with others.
- Able to work a flexible work schedule, including weekends.
- Must pass a drug test and physical.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must have a good driving record (MVR).
- Must pass a written DDS instructor test.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience is a plus.
- Military experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students on CDL requirements and driving skills.
- Ensure students meet Georgia Department of Driver Services instructor requirements.
- Provide training and assistance for licensing.
