About The Position

Our Drivers transport bulk and packaged products to customer job sites, operate our vehicles to manufacture and deliver product in to blast holes and provide general blast crew labor as needed. Driver candidates must have a valid CDL Class A or B with current Hazmat and Tank endorsements as well as current medical certification. If you need either of these endorsements and are willing to obtain with 90 days of hire, we will assist you to do so. Quick Supply Co. has serviced mining, quarrying and construction customers with integrity and expertise for over eight decades. We are excited to expand our operations and are immediately hiring full-time CDL Drivers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements in the Fairview, IN area.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must possess a valid CDL license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and current medical certification (assistance available to obtain within 90 days of hire)
  • High school education or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and handle physically demanding work outdoors on a daily basis
  • Must be able to work under various weather conditions on rough terrain
  • Must be self-motivated, dependable, and possess a strong work ethic
  • Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must be able to pass a DOT drug screening
  • Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Report
  • Must pass Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) pre-employment screening requirements

Responsibilities

  • transport bulk and packaged products to customer job sites
  • operate our vehicles to manufacture and deliver product in to blast holes
  • provide general blast crew labor as needed
  • safety and compliance must be the first priority
  • work closely with other location and crew members to provide exceptional customer service
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Load and unload vehicles ensuring products are handled, transported and stored according to policy and regulations
  • Work outdoors in all types of weather, lifting and carrying 50 pounds or more of product and material on a regular basis
  • Pull hoses, shovel and frequently walk, bend or squat
  • Attend training and be able to to demonstrate knowledge and competence of vehicle operating systems and product application
  • Available to work overtime to meet customer objectives
