About The Position

Quick Supply Co. is a nationally recognized family-owned and locally operated company that has serviced mining, quarrying and construction customers with integrity and expertise for over eight decades. Our goal is to partner with our customers to ensure optimal blasting outcomes while placing safety at the forefront of our day-to-day operations. We are excited to expand our operations and are immediately hiring full-time CDL Drivers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements in the Morris, IL area. Active-Duty Military/Veterans are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. Applicants must also be able to pass a background check, a DOT drug screening, have a clean Motor Vehicle Report, and pass Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) pre-employment screening requirements. Continued employment will be based on the results of these reports.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must possess a valid CDL license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and current medical certification.
High school education or equivalent.
Position requires ability to pass a background check conducted by the ATF to possess and handle explosives.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and handle physically demanding work outdoors on a daily basis.
Must be able to work under various weather conditions on rough terrain.
Must be self-motivated, dependable, and possess a strong work ethic.
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Must be able to pass a DOT drug screening.
Must have a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
Must pass Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) pre-employment screening requirements.

Responsibilities

Transport bulk and packaged products to customer job sites.
Operate vehicles to manufacture and deliver product into blast holes.
Provide general blast crew labor as needed.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Load and unload vehicles ensuring products are handled, transported and stored according to policy and regulations.
Work outdoors in all types of weather, lifting and carrying 50 pounds or more of product and material on a regular basis.
Pull hoses, shovel and frequently walk, bend or squat.
Attend training and be able to demonstrate knowledge and competence of vehicle operating systems and product application.
Available to work overtime to meet customer objectives.
