About The Position

Quick Supply Co. is immediately hiring full-time CDL Drivers with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements in the Snow Camp, NC area. Our Drivers transport bulk and packaged products to customer job sites, operate our vehicles to manufacture and deliver product into blast holes, and provide general blast crew labor as needed. We are a nationally recognized family-owned and locally operated company that has serviced mining, quarrying, and construction customers with integrity and expertise for over eight decades. Our goal is to partner with our customers to ensure optimal blasting outcomes while placing safety at the forefront of our day-to-day operations.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old.
Must possess a valid CDL license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements and current medical certification.
High school education or equivalent.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and handle physically demanding work outdoors on a daily basis.
Must be able to work under various weather conditions on rough terrain.
Must be self-motivated, dependable, and possess a strong work ethic.
Must be reliable and able to work closely with other location and crew members to provide exceptional customer service.
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
Applicants must be able to pass a background check, a DOT drug screening, have a clean Motor Vehicle Report, and pass Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) pre-employment screening requirements.

Nice To Haves

If you need either of these endorsements (Hazmat and Tanker) and are willing to obtain with 90 days of hire, we will assist you to do so.

Responsibilities

Transport bulk and packaged products to customer job sites.
Operate vehicles to manufacture and deliver product into blast holes.
Provide general blast crew labor as needed.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Load and unload vehicles ensuring products are handled, transported, and stored according to policy and regulations.
Work outdoors in all types of weather, lifting and carrying 50 pounds or more of product and material on a regular basis.
Pull hoses, shovel, and frequently walk, bend, or squat.
Attend training and demonstrate knowledge and competence of vehicle operating systems and product application.
Work overtime to meet customer objectives.
