About The Position

Waste Control, a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a CDL Residential Garbage Route Driver to join the team in Longview, Washington. The schedule will be Monday – Friday, starting at 4:30 am to 4:00 pm (About 10 Hours), with Overtime Often, and work weeks averaging about 45 Hours+ a week. The rate of pay is $29.00/HR. Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Working knowledge of D.O.T. laws
Willingness to submit to and pass background check and pre-employment drug screening test
Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Valid Class A or B CDL license with air brake endorsement
Ability to read route Tablet and service each customer identified or assigned by the dispatcher.
Perform Daily Pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles. Such as checking fluids, safety equipment, lights and tire pressure.
Operate hydraulic hand controls from in Cab.
Courteous interaction with our customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Ability to work a physically demanding job. Loading and unloading Garbage Containers using a Hydraulic Side Arm from inside the Cab of the Truck.
Ability to read, write and comprehend reports to complete daily assignments
