About The Position

Maverik is hiring a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to transport fuel to company locations across the West. This is a long-term PM-shift role with daily home time and year-round work. The schedule rotates between five days on and two days off, followed by five days on and three days off. Start times are between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, and shifts average 10–12 hours, with occasional longer days depending on weather, traffic, and operations. Drivers work in a 24/7 operation that includes weekends, holidays, and all-weather conditions, including winter driving and chaining when necessary.

Training may last up to 30 days and is typically conducted on the day shift. After successfully completing training, the driver transitions to the PM shift. Drivers use modern, well-maintained manual trucks and are expected to understand Samsara and slip/shared truck seating.

Pay is $95,000–$115,000 annually. The role offers a quarterly safety bonus of up to $8,000 annually, profit-sharing opportunities, daily home time, and year-round work. Eligible benefits include medical, dental, vision, and hearing coverage beginning on the first day of the month following the first 30 days of employment. PTO begins accruing on the first day. Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
• At least 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Recent experience operating a manual transmission.
• At least 21 years of age.
• Clean driving record (MVR) and a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, background check, and road test in a 13–18-speed manual transmission truck.
• Understanding of Samsara and slip/shared truck seating.
• Ability to sit for long periods.
• Ability to repeatedly stand, walk, handle, reach horizontally, and grasp firmly throughout a shift.
• Ability to frequently reach above the shoulder and below the waist, push buttons, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, kneel, and push.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry 75–100 lbs.
• Close, distance, color, and depth vision abilities.
• Ability to work outside in all types of weather conditions.
