Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A or B.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of commercial driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a background check, DOT physical, and drug screen.
  • Exceptional spatial awareness and ability to operate heavy equipment in low-light/nighttime conditions.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 50 lbs repetitively; occasionally move up to 100 lbs (rolling 3–4 yard containers on casters).
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb in/out of the cab, and maintain balance in various outdoor conditions.
  • Comfortable working 100% outdoors in all weather conditions (rain, cold, heat).
  • Ability to work effectively during night hours with minimal supervision while maintaining high productivity.
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and operate commercial frontload equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste during low-traffic, nighttime hours.
  • Expertly navigate trucks into and out of tight spaces and minimum clearance areas using mirrors and advanced vehicle lighting.
  • Access container enclosures or gates; ensure all gates are properly secured after service to maintain customer site security overnight.
  • Conduct comprehensive pre- and post-trip inspections (DVIR).
  • Maintain a DOT logbook and vehicle condition reports.
  • Clear loose trash off the ground around containers to maintain clean customer sites and road safety.
  • Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, FMCSA, and EPA regulations, including Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
